Forth Valley College is delighted to run a unique STEM initiative open to Primary 5-7 pupils from schools across the region (Falkirk Council, Stirling Council and Clackmannanshire Council).

As part of this programme, pupils will work on a range of investigations, experiments and team activities with the Famous Four characters - Suzi the Scientist, Tim the Technologist, Eric the Engineer and Mandy the Mathematician.

Topics covered include biodiversity, green energy, sustainability, planet earth and space, forces, rocket building and engineering challenges.

This free programme consists of up to 40 hours of STEM learning, aligned to the Curriculum for Excellence. This includes a one-day STEM outreach workshop delivered in your school from approximately 9.30 – 15.00 by our Forth Valley College STEM outreach team. You will also have access to a range of online learning activities to complete with your class in your own time.
